It’s time for 6th grade Outdoor School again! Polk Soil & Water Conservation District is looking for qualified and enthusiastic high school students to be Outdoor School counselors. Are you interested in the great outdoors, education or science? Apply today! For the first time ever, you can fill out and complete your application online at www.polkswcd.org, or you can pick up a copy in the high school office.

Listen up Central High School. ASBEC is working with Give 2 the Troops and putting on a Military Box Collection Drive. Your 3rd period classes will be competing to bring in the most supplies. Give 2 the Troops is asking for donations of beef jerky, protein powder, protein bars, baby wipes, hand sanitizers, batteries (AA, AAA, C & 9 volt), DVD movies (new or used – recent releases), and cards and letters. See the posters in theh alls for more information. The top three classes will win: 1st place - a pizza party; 2nd place - a doughnut party; and sparkly pencils for 3rd place. Please help us support our troops.
